Professional Bio

Carla Collis Gesite (pronounced "Hess-ee-tay") is a transformative life coach and speaker dedicated to empowering Christians to embrace their unique gifts and live out the divine purpose God has set for them.
Drawing on her signature coaching programs, dynamic presentations and workshops, Carla inspires individuals to embark on a bold new chapter—one filled with adventure and greater fulfillment. Her approach helps people soar in confidence and discover a renewed sense of their God-given purpose, allowing them to focus on what truly matters.
Speaking from the heart, Carla captivates her audiences with authentic stories and practical insights that encourage them to lean into their strengths and celebrate their individuality. In her workshops, she offers clear, actionable steps to help participants unlock the lives they were designed to lead.
Before embracing her calling as a life coach, Carla spent over 20 years honing her listening skills and intuition in the marketing research industry. At Elrick & Lavidge—a respected national firm—she facilitated thousands of focus groups, brainstorming sessions, and interviews, gathering invaluable insights for her clients.

Carla’s journey took a pivotal turn one Saturday when, feeling the weight of working on a beautiful weekend, she asked herself, “Why am I the only one working on a Saturday?” The Lord reminded her she had a choice about how she spent her time and that true identity in Christ mattered far more than worldly accomplishments.

Determined to create a well-rounded and purposeful life, Carla earned her coaching degree from CoachU in 2009. Today, she challenges and encourages her clients and audiences with humor, creativity, and a keen intuition that sparks powerful “Aha” moments—propelling them toward the vibrant lives they crave.

When she isn’t coaching or speaking, Carla enjoys unwinding to ‘70s R&B, playing fetch with her Labradoodles (Riley and Bogey), volunteering at church, and exploring new destinations with her husband, Al Ray.
